Are you struggling?

I came across some notes on a yellow legal pad today as I was sorting things on my desk. I always jot down my thoughts or journal and like to go back to see what I wrote and how I was feeling. This one was worth sharing. We all have something we are dealing with in life.  Unfortunately, I did not write down the date of this writing. I am not sure when or why I wrote this, but I am glad I found it!

It was Joni’s spinal cord injury. It was my autoimmune disease. It may be your broken marriage or a loss of a child for you. Whatever you’re suffering or pain is, I have come to realize God loves us and has a purpose for all of this. He loves us and only has His plan in mind and our wellbeing.

How can Joni feel blessed?

How can I feel blessed?

Its not easy. Some days I just want to throw in the towel. People think I am such a strong person. I am not! My strength is challenged daily. God has shown me that I can do this life only through Him. I also find strength in giving inspiration to those who contact me weekly.

I lead a small group of women that I try to be not only a guide for healing autoimmune disease, but also helping them find their strength in whatever struggle they are going through. Sharing my faith and my healing story has been amazing.

Whatever you are going through today, please know you are not alone. We have a loving God who has your best interest in mind. Connect with someone who can uplift you in your time of need, not tear you down.

This life is hard enough without the pain and suffering. Allow God and also find a caring person to help you get through your struggles.
